i can't find the thread, and reacted so hot and fast that i don't even know what the main subject of the thread was.
sigh

to preface, some might have noticed i've gotten pretty flipped out by how many here think men are superior to womyn, and do not even hesitate to say so, or just don't ever correct those who do.

well, yesterday morning/middle-of-the-night(-ish?), already agitated by some unsavory events, and admittedly cruisin for a bruisin, as they say,
i happened onto a thread in the middle of which someone had written that so-and-so had "nads" - as a compliment.
now i have only ever heard that said in reference to balls,
except -
it suddenly flashed into my rattled mind this predawn -
in biology class some thirty years ago.

"o my goddess!" i sprang right up from dozing, "we all got 'em! we all have gonads!"
well, dayum! just when someone found a perfect solution - a pansex compliment! - to something that's been bugging me so, i go and shoot my raging mouth off about it.

i don't know if the person i insulted, who so deserved my most sincere THANK YOU! will read this. i don't know if anyone will, really. but if you do, recipient of my knee-JERK-stupid insult (or know who that was and can pass this on) please accept my sincere and humiliated apology!!
no worry if you won't, just so you receive it.
but also receive, please, my earnest THANK YOU for providing a word that will fix this hurtful "balls" trend. that was BRILLIANT!! and i am very sorry i didn't see that at all.

also, to the rest on the thread, i am very sorry to have disrupted the thread like that.

i have been trying to think before putting my foot in my mouth...
so often.
