Anyone know where a good credit report website is? |
|
The only one I know is FreeCreditReport.com, but I don't know if they're really FREE. Trying to check my rating.

Technically, they're free for about a couple weeks, but if you don't respond a certain way within a week or two (I don't remember all the details, this was 2002), they charge you $75.00.
I don't know any good sites, but if anyone suggests any to you, try them. They can't be worse than freecreditreport.com.

3. The last time I got a free report, it did not include all the info I needed... |
|
It had my score and account info, but did not give date of last activity, date of first delinquency, or date of expected drop off, which I needed to dispute entries. So I went ahead and purchased all three full reports separately, because I am working on cleaning up my credit. I have raised my scores on each of the big 3 by about 100 points in the past 18 months. The free reports are good if you just want the basics and your scores, but I want ALL the info. If you want a good discussion forum for credit issues, check out the forums at www.creditinfocenter.com.
