I just gotta say it again - Amazon Prime %*(#&$ ROCKS!!! |
|
Though it probably costs me more per year than if I actually paid for shipping, due to the one-click convenience of ordering just about every book that shows up on the Daily Show and Colbert...
plus the guilt of all the cardboard wasted shipping this shit around.
But - fuckin' A, bro - PRIME %*(#&$ ROCKS!

1. I had an adventure with Amazon used books |
|
I bought six books from the same seller, but couldn't do it in one transaction--it had to be six. I hoped they would at least combine shipments, but no....six boxes with more padding and air than book. But still, even with shipping, I got the six books for maybe half of cost if they'd been new.

I'm with you on the amount of cardboard, too. Years ago if you ordered one or two CDs the box they came in wasn't much larger than the jewel cases themselves--now the boxes are a LOT bigger with two CDs shrink-wrapped to another piece of cardboard in the bottom of the box! What the hell, Amazon?
