Mysterious Two. Anyone ever see it?

Really bizarre made-for-TV movie that came out in the early 80's. The idea was that 2 "perfect" aliens come down to Earth to recruit followers for a trip through the universe. The catch is, the followers have to be emotionally converted in some way before they can go, and afterwards they literally act brainwashed. The protagonist dedicates himself to exposing them, but is frustrated again and again.

Anyone ever catch this? It was kind of distrubing in my opinion.

2. As a matter of fact, there's a comment on IMDB that that was what they were going for

It was made around the time of Jonestown as a criticism of cults.
