I FINALLY got the cast album to "Spring Awakening"

My best friend TJ went to see it again ..... we saw it together last T-Day weekend and we just fell in love with the show ...... as did the Tony Award voters.

I just love it. Not only did I get the cast CD, but TJ got the cast to sign it!!!

If you live near NYC or plan on going the NYC soon ... GO SEE THIS !!! It's fantastic.

When we saw it last Nov, it had just started on B-Way and we had second row seats and were floored by it. I sat next to the wonderful older couple .... real New Yorkers and B-Way folks. They were so cool. The show has sex and .... gasp ..... language in it. To give you a sample two songs: "The Bitch of Living", "My Junk" and "You're Fucked". This couple was LOVED it. I named them "Murray and Ida". Murray told me at intermission "That 'Bitch of Living' ... that's the next 'Season of Love'". They were SO B-Way peeps. DAMN ! I wanna live in New York. At the end of the show, the whole place was on it's feet. I turned to "Ida" and chanted ... 'TONY! TONY! TONY!' She grabbed my hand and said 'That's right, dar-link!'

I read the original play. In German.

But I saw the Tony Awards (Yes, the cast performed "The Bitch of Living"). Wedekind was never like this! :woohoo:
