A friend of mine went out and about in Wichita Falls, Texas taking pictures of the rainfall and flooding they have had. A different friend called me today to tell me that my old house is underwater right now. I'm so glad I don't live there anymore.

I've been in California for three weeks and have not missed the constant Dallas rain AT ALL. I'm going home today and am not looking forward to reentering the monsoon. It must be weird to know your old home is underwater.

It truly feels like the rain will never stop here in N. Texas. Now, they predict at least 7 more days of rain. Since the lakes are full, and the Trinity River has crested, I have no idea what will happen next week.

Tomorrow, when I'm off work, I think I'll take some pics of the flooded areas around my neighborhood (if the rain will stop long enough).

And, yes, you should be glad you don't live there anymore! :hi:
