I don't care what they're called, I just want my bars to be dark with cheap drinks and filled with people who don't talk to you unless you talk to them.

4. that would be the first choice
when the doors were photographing the cover to morrison hotel, they stopped in skid row and went to a bar.

the "hard rock cafe" was probably the type of bar you (and i) would enjoy.

8. i'm out of the loop on that one
i was thinking of a place by the viaduct on archer and 60-something street or the railroad tracks or the polish bakery.

the memory is fuzzy on that one.

though i am sure i've been to a tavern called "archway"
