Attention Mike Rowe fans! (Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch) YouTube gold inside:
And those of you who have never watched the Discovery Channel or even know who this awesome guy is, I pity ya!

http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=brinydeep

Among many gigs Mike has had throughout his career, including opera singer, host of a Baltimore real estate program, host of some kind of variety/talk TV show in the San Francisco area, apparently he was a late night QVC product hawker in the early 90's.

Now, the fact that someone actually VIDEOTAPED QVC to preserve us these moments of video gold bears a bit of reflection, but... enjoy.

Particularly recommended are the "Katsak", "Animated Love", "Noah's Ark", and the "My Way" karaoke (to sell the karaoke machine, of course!). You will then, of course, be forced to watch all of them, and any other Mike Rowe related clip on YouTube.

"The name of the piece is 'Your Love Lifted Me Up." Actually, technically speaking, I think it was your weight."

3. I like Deadliest Catch
but I hate that guy. He tries so how to sound profound, but just ends up sounding like an ass

4. You have to have watched "Dirty Jobs" to really get Mike Rowe. I personally
think "Dirty Jobs" is kind of hit and miss, but particularly good ones are where he works with the exterminator couple, the owl vomit harvesting guy, geoduck clam harvesting, and working in the San Francisco sewer system.

Hilarious Daily Show interview with Mike Rowe:

9. Agree, he's funny, self deprecating
Like him on Deadliest Catch. I think on the latter, he's more serious, because it really is dangerous work.

11. I have a little crush on Mike Row

Not as big as my Sean Bean crush, but still.

5. I remember him on QVC
He always seemed to hate selling jewelry, but it was always funny to watch.

7. Lordy!
Unbelievable! Obviously he wasn't the right "fit" for QVC!

Nah, his sardonic nature is perfect for Dirty Jobs--less so for QVC--and thank the gods!

(And I think he looks WAAAYYYY hotter now--he's a guy who looks good kinda craggy. He looks sorta like an alien in the QVC clips!)

8. Yeah, he definitely looks better filled out and "craggy" than the young skinny version.
I like that the sardonic humor has not changed, it's not an act he affected for "Dirty Jobs".
