An inexpensive way to give to charity

Give $2000 cash to courier #1.

Send courier #1 by a slow method of transportation to the recipient.

Shortly after courier #1 leaves, send courier #2 out with a signed and sealed letter for courier #1 to open. The letter commands courier #1 to give the money to courier #2.

Courier #2 then returns the cash to you.

The recipient doesn't actually receive anything, but remember that it's better to give than for someone to actually receive it. Right?
