I hope you at least have some meds to get you through until then.

2. I don't really need anything.
This was a tooth that has already had a root canal (and which should have been built up and crowned months ago; they may not be able to save it now), so there's no pulp or nerve. It only hurts if I chew on that side, which I have to be extremely careful about. If I break it any further, there's little chance they can save it. If I'm careful, I might still be able to get that crown.

There's minimal pain near the gumline, nothing I even need an Advil for, but I'll take an Advil if I need to.

Sorry you have to go through it though.
Fingers crossed on the repair :)

3. Ouch! I did that a couple of months ago.
Actually, when the tooth finally broke it seemed to release pressure, and it felt less painful and pressure-sensitive than before.

But let's not get into the nightmare when I didn't make the dentist make the rebuilt tooth (out of plastic filling material) match my bite exactly! That was very ouchy indeed and took several return trips to totally fix!

6. OMG, sweetie.
 The exact same thing happened to me last Saturday. :( I went to the dentist, and I have to have a crown but not a root canal. I hope your news is good on Monday and that you don't have any pain. :pals:

7. I'm going through molar sensitivity right now so I feel for ya.....
mine hurts on and off.....today it's been okay...I'm thinking it's a cavity or a filling that got lost....

I've booked my dentist for 2 weeks....I was to go in next week, but I've probably got overtime at work. Don't want to miss that.

priorities, eh?

How did you crack a molar?

8. It was fragile already, and it actually cracked while I was eating a butter mint.
