Question about Wood Floors |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-21-04 02:06 PM by Jack_Dawson
Thanks to everyone for your responses last week regarding wood floors. I guess "Swedish-X" is the best cleaner.
Now for a follow-up. Is there a liquidless way to get all the dust off my floor? I've tried a swiffer-type thing but it just moves the dust around. Are there "dust mops" that actually collect the dust w/o my having to dampen the floor? Juss wunderin'
Thx in advance.

The lanolin in the wool helps hold the dust. Probably around $25.

3. Cool - and it doesn't harm the floor or coat it with anything weird? |

I use both the lambs wool and a plain 'ol dust mop from HomeDepot. I don't spray either with anything like EndDust etc.

The cheapies aren't thoroughly cleaned and leave lanolin on the floor for the first few uses.

Then they eat them and puke on your semi-clean floor. YUCK!
