Any fans of The Mavericks? And Kostas? |
|
I'm listening to the "What A Crying Shame" CD at my desk. Not only a great CD, but more than half the songs were co-written by Kostas. I see his byline pop up on lots of great country CDs.
Check out The Mavericks - also Raul Malo's solo work - and keep an eye and ear out for Kostas.

I like The Mavericks a lot. I saw them live once. Great show!
What kind of genius is Kostas?! I think he's one of those guys that a songwriter (or record producer) brings in to punch up an otherwise OK song and make it sound better.

When they played "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down", they brought down the house. Not sure who took the accordion solo, but it RAWKED.
Not a bad gig for Kostas: a "designated hitter".
