SOUTH HAVEN 145 PM EST WED JAN 21 2004
... WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS AND SNOW THAT WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL BY
EARLY THURSDAY EVENING WILL RANGE FROM 5 TO 12 INCHES. WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH
WILL GUST TO NEAR 35 MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON AND DIMINISH ONLY SLIGHTLY
TONIGHT. THE COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS AND SNOW WILL RESULT IN
VISIBILITIES NEAR ZERO AT TIMES AND ALSO CREATE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW. WIND CHILLS WILL BE NEAR 5 ABOVE THIS AFTERNOON AND NEAR 10
BELOW TONIGHT. TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY IN
THIS AREA.

CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR HIGHLY LIKELY. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW...
BLOWING SNOW AND LOW WIND CHILLS ARE FORECAST. STAY INSIDE IF AT ALL
POSSIBLE....
