Should the Grumpys get another dog?
The breeder who gave us Jessie (the wonder Sheltie) has a 5 month old puppy that won't grow into show. She's topped out at 12 inches. Anyhow she is adorable.

We have a 3 bedroom house with a good sized backyard. Jessie is a playful little girl and gets along well with other Shelties (the few times she has been around them).

On the one hand, wouldn't that be fun to see two little Shelties rolling around on the carpet...on the other hand wouldn't all that fur be something?

Here is Emma:

3. I second that!
Plus the wear, tear and damge on the humans' household furnishings and other belongings can go WAY down if they have other dogs to occupy their bad selves.

Richardo <-- Six o' them doggies for us!

4. I assume you only have one dog?
Is she from the same litter? I would take her in if I were you she is awfully cute and a little more hair won't hurt.

You can name her Shelly the sheltie.

5. No she is from a different litter...same line. Jessie is 2 and Emma
is 5 months. Funny, my husband had a Sheltie named Shelly when he was growing up. :hi:

11. She is a doll
She is the Sister of your little girl and I would go ahead and take her if i had room.
That's odd as soon and I looked at her the name Shelly came to my mind and it could be here reincarnated. If you believe in reincarnation.

12. The number of dogs increases arithmetically
but dogginess increases exponentially. A second dog raises your dogginess quotient to 4. Three dogs raises it to nine. A fourth dog and your personality is completely subsumed by dogginess. You are merely one more member of the pack, locked in a continual struggle for dominance. Awoooo.
