I have to admit, it was like watching a car accident to see some of these no talent people try to sing. I felt bad for the one who was so terrible that the judges asked him to sing something else while laughed at him.

And what the hell was that guy who sang "Sweet Home Alabama" thinking? Um, hello?

I'll admit I was flipping between that, C Span, and the various News Channels to see what was going on.

The first episode or two are the only ones I watch because the singing really is pretty bad (and pretty funny). The show itself is sorta boring. Simon is an ass hole, but hey the people that try out should know that by now.

I'll never get accustomed to the new way of singing. That "every-note-except-the-right-note" way of dancing around and re-inventing the tune as you go along isn't my idea of singing.

First season, I got caught up in the drama of it and WHO would win, not who sang "better".

I heard Rubin studdard for the FIRST time today (on the Ellen Degeneres Show that I had recorded) and he was HORRIBLE.

At 43, I'm just too old for this anymore... I'd rather risk sounding like my parents than having to listen to THAT crap.

But I digress... you asked a question. My answer is "no"... I missed it, sorry. :hi:
