Redecorating: a love-hate relationship

I love my new paint, my new curtains, my new curtain rods but I'm tired of living in a mess! And in a fishbowl, my neighbors have had a front row seat for all activity in my living room since my eight foot window has been uncovered for two weeks. Guy is coming to hang new blinds tomorrow then I am ALL DONE - until kitchen floor is replaced next month.

And I hired all of this done. If my SO was doing it, it would take a year....

I am sure you will feel GREAT once this is all over.

Myself, I have a living room full of boxes still - Must buy bookshelves tomorrow.:bounce:

2. I had to do that too....

When we went to move the dining room bookcase back against the wall, it broke into pieces pinning my little finger between a shelf and a chair and dumping five shelves of mostly hardcovers all over the floor.

The new one weighs 200 lbs...
