He went to play guitar at noon. I expected him home around four or five. It's 7:35 now.

That happened to me once. My dad was visiting me in my new apartment. I sent him out for a loaf of bread, and three hours later I decided to visit the neighborhood bars. He's an alcoholic.

I'd expect him around six, and he'd come stumbling in at 1:30, claiming he stopped off and had just two drinks, both of which were comped by the bartender. It was always just two, and they were always free. :eyes:

I say they must have been pretty BIG drinks. I put up with his shit for over three years.

Mr. LIW is likely caught up in some fantastic new song he and his drummer have written, and they lost track of time.

9. Sounds like my dad...

Only he called 3 days later from Mexico. Took off with a friend in a private plane. Oh the shit my mom put up with. He was a character & a jewel. We just grew to expect things like that from him. We did anyway...she ended up divorcing him. :)

He brought them back at 10:30. I was a wee bit irritated.

he's helping our stubborn, tired little girl fall asleep. We're going to the car show first thing tomorrow morning and she's overtired as it is.

I'm eating Swiss cheese and drinking red wine, and I hope to win at least one game of darts before the night is over. :)
