Okay, time to switch gears. Lounge writers who have published...did the fame go to your heads?

Did you finally get a book deal, sell some copies of your book and then...get crazy after getting some much-deserved recognition? Did you find yourself unable to write anymore, or unable to write anything good? Just tell me. Being corrupted by fame is one of my biggest fears.

1. I'm not published, but I've proofed galleys for friends

complete with acknowledgments. Which I keep reading over and over to other friends. Until they stop being my friends. It's prob'ly just as well I'm not published. What's worse than insufferable?
