2. You might like "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang," also written by Shane Black
It came out in 2005 and starred Robert Downey, Jr., and Val Kilmer. It got pretty much ZERO advertising (most people I know have never even heard of it) but it's well worth seeing. More info here. :)

3. That is a GREAT movie
once I saw the trailer on a DVD I got that the very next day. Another good Kilmer movie is Spartan. It is a David Mamet story and it is fantastic.

It's baffling as to why Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang got almost no advertising since it's such a funny movie. It was just sheer luck that I got to see during the couple of weeks it was in theaters, and it's so much better than some of the movies that came out right around the same time that there's really no comparison, imo. Nice to talk to another one of the 12 people who've actually seen it. ;)
