3. picked up a used cd called "Best of the Gin Blossoms-The millennium collection"
has all the essentials on it.
They're too cool. and every time one of their songs is played, at least one person goes "oh, I love that song"

8. i don't think i've actually heard any of their music
or might have, as background noise somewhere. it has that "white suburban ethnic ersatz genericness" feel to it.

kinda like the mixed-use retail strip mall theory of music.
