24. Looks more like pirates
The guitarist isn't even plugged in, and I doubt the fiddle player is, either. I would wager most of the performance was canned, and the only live bit was her vocals and some of the percussion.

(Now, I shall don my amateur flamenco guitarists' cap)
The dancers' costume is more Balkan than Spanish. The song itself was performed in a "Rumba Flamenco" style, which originated in Cuba and came to Spain via Barcelona in the early 1900s, and has been popularized in other countries by groups like the Gipsy Kings (who are actually French, btw).

It's a great piece of showmanship, if nothing else.

6. Yeah, I guess so
Thing is, I wouldn't want to. Not that I have anything against Madonna; it's just not my choice of music.

Anyway, I was totally kidding.

I gotta stop taking cues from "Will & Grace."

You start thinkin' of Jack as a typical representative of gaydom, you get some pretty messed-up ideas.

It totally rawked, though, when Will kissed him in front of the "Today Show" weather dude and half of Noo Jork City.

And I'd do Karen with your dick.

19. Karen is the bomb!
I like her the best of the foursome. She's basically the only reason I ever watched that show.
It was very stereotypical but it made me laugh.

12. All these years later, and she's still fuckin' kickin' it!
While I might not sit and listen to Madonna for very long, I have a lot of respect for her for bringing integrity, musicianship, and creativity to what she does.

Kick ass, Madonna!

21. Nope - she's one of the few pop "musicians" I respect,
because she's actually a musician (no quote marks) and an artist.

Yeah, she works in the pop field, which is unfortunate - I'd like to see her do something serious once - but she does it really, really well. And not in the sense of hitting all the pop cliches, but in the sense of actually taking the pop genre and doing something interesting and creative with it.

23. Her newest albums
didn't sell as much as her older ones but I think some of them are really good. They're deeper, more mature, more personal.

I just listened to "Confessions" on the way to work (I am in a Madonna mood) and that album kicks some serious ass.

I just love seeing the progression in her music, lyrics, style, etc...she really is the bomb and I think the most influential female artist of my time (I am 29).

31. Agreed.
A few years ago, she did a very low-key art installation called "X-Static Process". I got to see it in person and was blown away. This video pales in comparison to what it was like IRL, but nonetheless I wanted to share it with you since you clearly understand her artistic function.
