So, who's going to see Harry Potter this Wednesday?
Is anyone here planning on seeing Harry Potter this Wednesday?

I know it's supposed to be a hit, given all the hype over Book 7, but when I went to buy our group tickets today, I was surprised to see several showings already sold out including 2 of the 4 midnight showings.

Just wondering if anyone else is uber-excited? :hi:

1. I am waiting for Book 7 more than the movie
As it is new material. I of course plan to see the movie, but not opening night.

2. Nope
I've never seen any of the movies nor have I read any of the books. Just not interested.

Same thing for LOTR.

6. I guess so!
My sister is obsessed though. I've heard enough about Harry from her that I don't think I need to read the books or see the movies! :)

July 11- Harry Potter
July 20- Hairspray
July 27- Simpsons
Aug. 3- Bourne Ultimatum
Aug. 10- Rush Hour 3

3. Me, me, me!!!
OOTP was my favorite of the HP series so far. Love that hall of prophesies! And Tonks. And the hospital for magical maladies.

I've also got Deadly Hallows on order at my local independent bookstore. What can I say? I'm a geek.

7. hehe
I enjoyed both Book 5 and 6. Six was a lot deeper in that it went to explain a lot of what happens throughout the past 5 books. I know 5 will be outstanding, but the next movie is something I'm really going to enjoy.

11. I wont be able to go this week end, but I will be standing in
line next weekend. OOTP was totally awesome, I think the best one of all. I already have my Deathly Hallows ordered and paid for. Now THAT I am counting the seconds for.

13. I want to
but I don't know if it is opening in Korea that day, too? For some reason I was thinking the movie came out on the 27th in the US. Where did I get that? Who knows.

16. Well, one never knows. Probably there won't be, though.
Sad.

I always loves me some righteous angry Christian protesters protesting over bullshit when children are dying of starvation and an illegal war is happening and the number of poor and hungry keeps increasing.

18. I probably won't be able to go until Saturday
Hubby works early, so late screenings won't do. Plus for some reason it isn't showing near us, so we have to drive to the Indy suburbs to see it.

19. I want to re-read the book before seeing it.
Shouldn't be more than a few days of commuter reading at worst.

That said, I can't imagine how much they'll have to gut from the book to keep the movie within reasonable length.
