I hate cellulite
I have no Lounge-worthy rant. I just hate cellulite.

That is all.

3. I think it happens to us all, eventually.
I was seriously counting on science to develop cures for all this kind of stuff before I hit the "age" where it starts.

Not. gonna. happen.

Plbbbt!

6. I've always had this stupid cellulite, even when I was much younger.
I was just noticing it more today, unfortunately.

Today, I weigh 118 pounds. My thighs are 20 inches and my hips are 33 inches (you can probably picture THAT pear shape right now, LOL). I am wearing a size 0 pair of jeans. But I won't wear shorts because of this ugly, ugly cellulite.

Big thighs, big calves (15 inches), ugly cellulite.

11. 20 inches = big?
Not in my book. But then, it's your book that counts.

What's your inseam? You appear to have longish legs — or at least not short — and Oedi's First Rule of Legginess holds that L§ {D¹+D²}=¶!!!™.

Parsed as non-gobbeldygook, that means you have fanTAStic gams.

12. Big compared to the rest of me.
I prefer a 32 inseam but sometimes wear 30.

I am a short person (5'4"), but I'm short-waisted, so my legs aren't especially short. Just...meaty.

18. I'll take your word for it.
Perhaps I'll take this opportunity to quote an old boyfriend of mine: "Who the hell told you that skinny thighs are sexy?"

4. cellulite is just a way for the body to store fat. Even many women athletes have it.
And cosmetic companies make a lot of money making us feel bad about it.

BTW - Covert Baily says the best way for women to rid themselves of upper leg fat is to breast feed because that's what it's there for- so having a baby may actually help.

5. I'm 41 years old and have three children already.
I breastfed two of them well into toddlerhood.

I think that particular ship of cure has already sailed. ;)

9. Well...I know I will get flamed for this...
and I know everyone will say...we want to look good for OURSELVES, not for MEN...but here's my 2 cents anyway...

As men age also, God knows we get imperfections. Unwanted hair, lack of wanted hair, belly fat...whatever.

Speaking as an imperfect man, I am certainly more attracted to a woman that has imperfections. I would rather see a natural 50 year old woman (as an example only) than a 50 year old woman who is trying to look like a Barbie doll.

I would be embarrassed to be with a woman who was model perfect, no fat, no cellulite, etc. Because...everyone would say...what the hell is she doing with HIM? Not to say that I think I'm a bad looking guy, but I don't look like I just stepped out of a magazine, and I wouldn't want a woman who does look like that.

For what this is worth... :hide:

10. Good news and bad news.
I worried about "cellulite" when I was young.

Now that I am old, it seems to have mysteriously disappeared, and my thighs are nice and smooth.

It's too bad that at my age, the rest of me isn't worth a second glance!

21. One time, when my son was 8, he walked up behind me while I was wearing shorts.
"Mommy, you have dents on the backs of your legs."

"Honey, we never discuss mommy's dents, okay?"
