FBI Called After Clay Aiken Beaten Up By Girl On Flight

TULSA, Okla. -- Clay Aiken was involved in a spat with a woman on an airplane over the weekend.

The Tulsa World reported Aiken was traveling Saturday morning on a Continental Airlines flight.

FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson confirms there was a dispute between a male passenger and a female one, but he could not confirm the male was Aiken. He said the dispute was over the male passenger's foot resting on the woman's armrest.

He said there was an allegation the woman gave the male passenger a "minor shove" during an argument.

A Tulsa Airport Authority spokeswoman said the passengers were held until the FBI arrived.

No injuries were reported and no arrests were made. Aiken told the audience at his concert that night that he had been beaten up by a girl earlier in the day.
