20. Actually, this one should be pretty interesting, too.

First we have a visit for a week with my Dad and the kids to see his new home in VA, followed by a week in WI with MrShine and everyone for a huge family reunion on my cousin's farm. They own 220 acres and about 35 of us are gathering to camp and have fun together.

But before all THAT, I'm doing a major endurance cycling event this coming Saturday called the CA Death Ride. I've never done it before and it's a pretty big deal. 2800 cyclists, 130 miles, 5 mtn passes, 16,000 ft of climbing...all in ONE DAY!!! Whew!! I'm leaving town on Friday to drive up to the Sierras where it starts at Markleeville, doing the ride all day Saturday (starting at 4:30am!), driving back home on Sunday and then we fly out of SF super early on Monday!! So I've gotta get all my ducks in a row and have the kids and myself fully packed for the 2 wk trip back east before I even leave on Friday!!

It's a lot, but I'm pushing thru'. Wish me luck and send ALL your good ju ju for Safety, Endurance and Strength on Saturday. I'll be wearing an eagle talon necklace, too. Hey, every little bit helps. :D
