3. That was a joke.
I'm perfectly aware that the costly gifts will not be forthcoming! I am in fact in the middle of learning that money does not buy happiness; but brown eyes do bring it on, to a degree.

So, translate. My french sucks. ;)

I can't translate your OP and I have no idea what Thich Nhat Hanh is. My inclination is to read the letters backward and hope they make better sense.
