I've given up coffee.
A few weeks back, I decided to give up coffee.

And I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Giving it up has sort of help stablize my mood, also.

1. Drink water.
It's a good drink, I guarantee you'll like it.

2. Commie.
Caffeine is one of the 4 basic food groups. The other 3 are salt, grease, and starch...making french fries and a coke a completely balanced meal.

5. I don't usually drink coffee in the summer.
Toooo hot!
In the winter, I LOVE a french vanilla latte, though!

7. "In the winter"
In MN, wouldn't that be all the months that aren't July or August?

9. No way! Winter's only October through April.
Possibly May.

It snowed in June once that I recall.
So maybe *kind of* June.
September is NEVER winter, though!

:P

12. I second that "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Without coffee, there is nothing to live for! Or at least nothing to stay awake for... :loveya::donut::loveya:

Of course, I am a proud addict...*twitch*

I should add that I drink my coffee black, and that as of 12:30pm EST, I've only had 1 cup of coffee, which I didn't even finish before it was cold and icky...:boring:

10. Nice!
No nasty side effects, or anything?

I should give it up. I just had a mild anxiety attack a few minutes ago.

13. No nasty side effects.
It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...no "withdrawal" or anything.

You should consider giving it up. You'll feel better. :-)

14. I've never been a coffee drinker
Never liked the taste. So, I drink tea. Now, giving up tea would be a challenge. I need my caffeine as much as the next person.

15. I gave it up several years ago....
I still drink tea now and then, and iced tea, of course.

During the work day, I guzzle water.

18. You're not supposed to give it up to stabilize your mood, just balance it out with some wine later.
:)

20. I gave up coffee for about a year. I drink a bit now, about half a cup a day
DId you ever try decaf? I did that for a while and it's okay. I didn't miss "real" coffee that much either and there's plenty of times I drink none at all for days at a time.

21. Why?
I actually didn't drink coffee at all until college, because I didn't like the taste, but now I love it.
