Name a song of which you're already sick
Edited on Tue Jul-10-07 01:18 PM by Orrex
"Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie

and

"Umbrella" by Rihannon.

I only hear them occasionally, and only thanks to my coworkers' radios, but they both make me want to shriek.

edited to remedy a dangling participle. Of.

2. Hey! Hey! You! You! I don't like your girlfriend!
It set a record - I was sick of it the instant I started to hear it for the first time.

Hearing that song, I feel like I'm being beaten with baseball bats at a speedfreak pep rally.

10. Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie is NOT by fergie!
That's an older song from way back in the time machine.

I fucking hate it when copycats claim oldies as their own!! :grr:

16. Well, yes and no...
No matter who wrote it or recorded it first, the Fergie-licious version is the one that makes me want to vomit, so that's the one that makes the list.

12. When I saw the title
I immediately thought of "Umbrella." It's everywhere and slowing driving me insane....

I was going to add anything by the Pussycat Dolls. Manufactured crapola.

15. Anything sung by Elvis; most Xmas carols
Elvis was overrated as a singer and pathetic on the guitar; his songs deserve a decent burial.

Overplayed Xmas carols include Hark the Herald Angels Sing, We three kings, O come all ye faithful, and a few million others.
Rudolph the red nosed raindeer sucked from the very beginning.
Jingle bells isn't a xmas carol, but it is equally tiresome.
