2. I took out the words that got no votes, |
|
added the others that were suggested, and... Bob's yer uncle.

4. I'm not sure they say "gor'blimey" anymore |
|
except as a joke. Poxy is good. Next round I may replace wanker because I think it's already been adopted.

5. my grandmother was from south london |
|
always retained her cockeynisms.
she'd often say "gor!" or "oy!" or "blimey!"
if she was really exasperated she'd say "gor blimey!" and call us all a bunch of buggers.
my uncle paul, who still lives in croydon, is very fond of saying "fuckin' cunt" or "bleedin'" this or that.

9. I only rent tv shows on dvd, especially English ones |
|
Big Train is a sketch comedy series, probably the best I've ever seen. A lot of the "Shaun of the Dead" cast are regulars. It's mostly from watching British tv shows that I got the idea for this poll.
I really find "get it sorted" useful, but no one voted for it in the last poll. :(

8. I'm torn between 'peckish' and 'snoggin'' |
|
"Peckish, sir?"
"Esurient."
"Beg pardon?"
"Eee, ooo, 'ungry, like!"
**********
"WE WAS NOT SNOGGIN'! We was talkin'!
"Talkin' about snoggin', most likely!"
:D
