Heh. I guess AL misunderestimated Junior's arm strength.

"Hit home runs."

14. I'm surprised they said anything that for one second didn't involve
Bonds. Of course, right after Ichiro crossed home plate, they went right back to it.

15. Wowwww!
Announcers just said that was the first in-the-park HR ever in an All Star Game. It WAS a very odd bounce that took the ball away from Junior...but there's no denyin' that Ichiro is an amaaazing player.

21. I'm a NYer,
and do enjoy Yankee games more frequently than others', but dammmm...I do so cheer for him every single time I see him involved in a play, offense or defense. Such a light touch, such talent and instincts!

36. You gotta teach me how to do that
He calls a game like he took about 900 too many foul tips to the head.

Buck is boring. McWhorever just needs to STFU forever.

And Faux needs to think of more places to put cameras. I think the CupCam might be next.

So stupid they scheduled so tightly and didn't pre-plug that keyboard...they announce Paula Cole, and everyone in TVland endures that excruciating 2 minutes along with the pianist. True crickets. Tsk tsk, manager & producer!
:eyes:

Well sung...and then Joe Buck chimes in and his first words are "Worth the wait..." :eyes:
