Woke up with this song in my head this morning :yoiks:

And the lovely Pat Boone and Frankie Avila are in this clip as well.
But, who IS that redhead seated across from Pat?? (brain slippage...know the face, not the name :o )

1. I was expecting an elbow to the nose and a bloody parka!
What a gyp! On the other hand, what a fun song! My friend's three year old daughter immediately gravitated to my computer and started dancing.

2. That it was kept in the film is funny
and the look on that guy's face is priceless!

I had the Lesley Gore Greatest Hits LP in the early '60s, and that song was on it. It was a fun song. Can see why a kid would love it as I was only about 6 when I used to play it.

4. I think the redhead is Yvonne Craig
Batgirl. It looks like her to me.

7. I didn't see Pat Boone
But I saw Dwayne Hickman, aka Dobie Gillis. Front row, next to the aisle.

Oh, and the movie was "Ski Party" (1965). I saw it in the theatre with "The Girls on the Beach."

:hi:

Not Pat Boone..it was Dwayne Hickman! And, it is "Ski Party"!

Silly me! :silly:

Never saw it in the theaters, but I did watch it on TV (pre-cable/vid days) many moons ago ;)

14. Who was crushed on by Zelda Gilroy
played by Sheila James, the stage name for Sheila Kuehl — a very liberal California State Senator who's authored many human rights bills.

12. I don't remember anything about the movies
I was 9 and went with my sister (11) and our cousin Amy (13). Saturday matinée, designed for moms to have three hours to themselves.

It cost 35 cents. :D
