THank you for the suggestion you gave me last night for my dog. She came through the first day better than she did any day out of the kennel, and she's so much better behaved and more playful tonight than she has been since we got her. She's very happy, and has even went back into the kennel a couple of times to just chill. You rock bud. I really thought I was being cruel, but now that I see she feels secure in there while she's alone, I feel a lot better. Duckie

you can ween her off probably after a few weeks. but i'll bet after a month or so, if you leave the door open one day, she will STILL sleep there while you are gone. it is her den now.
we haven't crated Remi for years but I still put up baby gates to keep him off the leather (Pugs are stubborn) but he has the run of the kitchen and office.
