So I went down to 7-11 for my free Slurpee. |
|
It turns out it really is Free Slurpee Day, but the bullshit was that the free slurpees are just sample-sized dixie cups. So what I did was fill up one of the big super double extra giganto cups with slurpee, then walked out the door. Nobody stopped me. If they had, I would have just used my Confused Old Man routine, but that wasn't necessary.
So the moral of this story is: fight the power.

1. "Do they owe us a Slurpee? 'Course they do, 'course they do!" |
|
(Paraphrasing Crass)
No one replied because we're all afraid of being taken down with you, when the cops finally catch up. Admit your crimes in public and you ask for sympathy? How many of us are dialing 911 on our cell phones as I type?

(sometimes I can't tell when folks are just joshin' around here). Because that is false advertising to just give out sample cups, how completely lame.
