Do you tend to have very little appetite in the heat?
I've got all kinds of things I could eat for dinner and no shortage of culinary skills. But all I had for dinner was yogurt, fruit and a small salad. And in the 96º heat, that's enough. I'm full.

2. Yup.
I made a big batch of gazpacho yesterday, so we'll have some of that and maybe some hummus.

It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow--that'll be a nice change.

3. No, I lack appetite during hot weather...
I ate cold cuts the last several nights when it was very hot. Today, when it was much cooler, I had a hot meal. And I have air conditioning, which I know is not always the case in Seattle. And 96 is extremely hot for your neck of the woods.

5. I can't eat anything warm when it is hot.
This is sandwich and salad weather. Eating anything cooked is not going to happen. And my appetite takes a serious nose dive when it warms up.

8. It's hard for me to eat when it's really hot like it is today (98 degrees).
I had an asian chicken salad for dinner (got it at the store), plus some grapes. This heat is horrid.

11. Holy crap.. It only got up to 90 degrees in Eugene today.
Yesterday we hit 99.. I didn't realize that it could fluctuate that much between our locations.

15. Oh yeah, I eat more salads
and fresh produce in the spring and summer. I don't like to eat anything heavy or hot. It feels like it sits in my stomach like a lead weight.

16. Definitely.
I drink so much water when it's hot that there's not much room left in me for food.
I think if I lived down south I'd have to go on Ensure, to survive.

23. I guess, living in the southern heat, I've adapted.
Instead of cooking inside, I grill or boil seafood outside. We eat lots of light meals, like grilled squash, boiled shrimp, etc. I don't even want to see fried food during the summer.

But, yeah, not nearly as much of an appetite in the summer months.
