19. But there are always those few seconds
where you think that maybe this one time you won't peel, and will keep your color.

It never works that way. :eyes:

I got sunburned so bad once that all the skin around my eyes swelled up. It was miserable. Miserable.

It looks like the doctor did a bad collagen injection around my eyes.

I was curled up next to the kerosene heater, and was so happy to go to work, because the power was on there.. which meant heat! Now I dread it, because I work in an office full of computers and there is no AC. What a difference.

21. A long time ago when I lived in Austin, I could not afford AC.
I did have a window fan which really helped pulling the hear out of the room but still it was so humid.

I lost a lot of weight that summer, didn't eat a lot and sweated off the rest.

I just ate very light, cool type foods and drank plenty of fluids.

I was on the second floor so I did catch some breeze at night.

how the FUCK do people deal with this shit year-round? Without going insane and raping their nieces and beating the hell out of their stepwives and dealing with the fact that the last bottle of JD has been finished off the other night so there is nothing else to drink to fuel their rage?

I'm such a wuss though, I can't believe I used to regularly survive Washington D.C. summers. Of course, I had air conditioning there.
