A summary of my life in limerick-form, because I've got too much time on my hands

I'm on the computer, it's late
The number of cookies I ate
and cups of teas
and slices of cheese
is becoming far too great.

I have books that need returning
to the library, and I'm discerning
in another time and nation
much to my consternation
they would wind up at a book burning.

I try to eat soup with a fork,
I don't have a job or a spork.
I've applied everywhere, to my knowledge,
and I need money for college,
but also for trips to New York.

I went to a pizza place last week
and at the interview, looked like a geek
I tried to get hired
and left confused and tired,
for little English the owner could speak.

I'm in love with the band One Ring Zero
The one guy fiddles like Nero.
The subject of this song,
who does many things wrong,
is something of an anti-hero:
