I'm sitting here thinking about something, and feel compelled to post this.

There is a big population here, and after reading many of these posts, I think i can say that in general, the subset of the general population that makes up DU are so damn kind and supportive of each other, in spite of the constant ball busting and wise cracks.

What I am trying to say here is that you people should be proud of yourselves.

I have been a member here for a several months but don't post much. Especially for the past few months since my partners and I have relocated to Portland from S.F.
Anyhow, I do lurk here when I get a chance, mostly for a few hours in the morning. I find that after reading the posts here I am more informed and knowledgeable of world events than I can ever be from the right wing main stream media.

You people here ROCK and your intellectual levels should make this board mandatory reading in secondary schools.
Well, that is MY opinion anyways.
Thank you so much for the support of progressive and Democratic causes.
