Calling CaliforniaPeggy, do you like this pendant?
Hi Sweety;
This was an order of magnitude more difficult then anything I have previously made. The way the stone (Ithica Peak Mine, Arizona turquoise) is set in a hand poured tuffa bezel is new to me. I know you don't like snakes that much so if this is not your cup of tea I will be working on deer and horse stuff when I get back from vacation.
Yours,
P-B

1. I'm not California Peggy, but I'll tell you the truth... that is a beautiful piece of jewelry.
Thanks for posting the photos.

2. Thank you Radio_Lady
That was kind. I was not very satisfied with the results, but I learned a lot while making it. It seems my hands are when my ideas go to die.. :-)

13. Puerco-bellies, do you sell your jewelry? My new friend, whom I discussed in another thread,
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 04:36 PM by Radio_Lady
is trying to find outlets for her jewelry. I told her I'd try to investigate any leads DU people might have in this crafts field.

R.A. is a single mother with a darling little boy S.A. They live here in the suburban area west of Portland, Oregon. She is currently separated from her husband, who had many problems and is now in Las Vegas. R.A. has much to offer, but she doesn't seem to want to look for a full-time job. She has an intriguing background, with beautiful speech and years of high level boarding school education in northern Pakistan. She is struggling to make ends meet and tries have a positive attitude.

She made a beautiful lapis lazuli necklace which I bought from her. This coming Sunday, I'm going to try to help her put a windchime together, and I am going to pay her for her time and the use of her tools. The pieces of this windchime have been sitting in my drawer, unfinished, for many years. I'd like to hang it underneath one of my ceiling fans.

She has a computer, and does a little email, but she probably would not have the desire to get involved with eBay or other selling sites.

Anything you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

In peace,

Radio Lady in Oregon

4. If I put it in my case (if C-P doesn't like it) I would ask $125 and take no less then $110

When I have my display set up and I'm "Indianed-up'ed" I can hold my prices pretty well, especially my own work.

edited because I don't think to preview my posts

7. Want to meet at Tommy Boy's in a few minutes.
I could really use a chili-cheese N onion dog right now..

If you still like the pendant after seeing it in person it is yours on behalf of the Denizens of Lounge for your service above and beyond the call.

15. Not CP, but I love it!
I used to have a whole bunch of silver snake rings that I wore, some had lapis and onyx in them but I don't think I ever had one with turquoise. Very, very beautiful. :hi:
