Favourite Otis Redding tune (DOCK OF THE BAY EXCLUDED)

I love "Mr. Pitiful"

I can't believe he was only 26 when he died... those pipes were from someone that young.

12. That one would be my favorite, too
I also like his original of "Respect" and his and Carla Thomas's "Tramp." (I mostly just know his hits, though, so there are probably some excellent b-sides/album tracks I've never heard.)

4. Impossible to choose. They're pretty much all amazing
Though I do like These Arms of Mine, Tramp, Change is gonna come, and I Can't Turn you Loose and Wholesale Love...oh hell. See, I'll just wind up listing all of them.

6. "I'm A Changed Man"
OK, not an obvious pick, but the others were spoken before. Plus, the gospel supergroup I'm in has performed that song before, so I'm a little biased.

13. Don't Mess With Cupid is my fave.
Otis is known for his tender love songs, but I love him for his energetic live performances of up-tempo songs. Basically, if Otis is singing 'Gotta gotta gotta gotta gotta' and sweating swimming pools, then I'm digging it.
