This is sort of a strange thread but it involves my first 'wedding' gift and a Du'er who made it

yesterday lisa and i were talking and we were both kind of sad how our parents ignore our engagement. if i were straight, a huge huge wedding would be planned. I have been hearing about this large wedding of mine for years now. However since i am marrying a girl, this is off the table.

and ofcourse ny state will not allow us to get married.

all in all it was a very depressing conversation.


However today a du'er delighted me my making my first wedding present!!!


So i wanted to thank AllegroRondo for making my day!!! Here is the gift he made for me!!

and a beautiful necklace. Just because NY won't allow even a civil union, muchless marriage doesn't mean you can't have a ceremony. Cross the river to NJ. We still haven't reached the "marriage" stage, but we have passed a civil union law giving partners full rights and we are working towards the passage of a marriage law....soon I hope.
