My little jird Farouk is gone.

He was such a sweet little guy. He only had one eye and he was very friendly. I'll miss you little buddy.

1. Sorry to hear about your little guy.

My wife and I rescued ferrets for many years; we kept over 30 of the rescues ourselves, with 15 the most we had at any one time (15 ferrets kept us very busy!). Love little fuzzy critters.

3. I know all about ferrets and how they weasel their way

into your heart. I can't imagine having fifteen of them at one time, though. I have enough poop to clean with five. :)

I'd never heard about them, although I know (and had once owned) gerbils.
