I spent this hot day turning part of the deck into a cat play room for our indoor cats,
My young cat is there right now enjoying the fake tree I built, she better play in there after the day I put in.

I was working in the shade put it was still really hot and humid.

3. The older cats are still checking it out but my young just is having so much fun.
I have ramps, perches, and a fake tree for the furry ones to hang out in or on.

I can add more things later.

I feel like a piece of toast.

5. Sure will.
It is really easy to built, just be sure to use that cat proof screen.

The boards were donated by a friend who builts houses, along with the plywood for the roof, the good, expensive kind.

All I had to buy was the catdoor and the screen which was like $15 a roll.

I think cats need to be outside, even if it is inside of cat play house.

6. I don't think I will see my young cat for awhile.
I built it for her because she kept trying to get out, I hope this stops her from trying to get out the door.

She like to hunt, and I really don't want her to kill a bird.

7. My eldest was an outdoor cat in Iowa,
but there's too much traffic for that here. He'd love a room like you're building.

He'd also love to hunt birds. I have to watch him when opening doors.

8. My young cat got out several times and became afraid after she got out.
This way she can be out but safe, along with the birds.

I over built the cat playhouse but I do live in hurricane country.
