Amazing, awesome and powerful is all I can say, and I didn't know what a "slam poet" was before I heard Officer Dean interviewed on Nova M Radio...

Corbet Dean is entered in FameCast, an international talent competition, and he's made it into the top 10 finalists...

If he wins first place, he intends to donate half the prize money, $5,000.00 to a domestic violence shelter located on his beat in Phoenix. He's also trying to get local businesses to come up with matching donations for the shelter as well. So it would be a really good thing if he were to win.
