Here's how I remember Trent Reznor
Or Spent Razor as I like to call him. I remember him back in these days and when he came out with all that dark whatever-you-call-it stuff I had to chuckle. I was just never into that synth pop music. Especially when the American singers sang with a terrible British accent.

Anyway, here is Trent in the early days:

2. That's funny you mention Kirk Yano
I was just checking out one of my buddy's MySpace page and he had a comment from Yano just added the other day. Weird.

I remember how he was the Big Shit back in the early 80's; one of my bands was going to go into theere to record but we broke up before it happened..

5. To be honest, I don't know
There are so many friggin studios these days around here. It's not like it was. I know Beachwood is still open, but they were pretty good even back in the day. I remember After Dark, we recorded some stuff at Angel studios and that was a big deal to us back then. Four tracks on 1/4" tape...lol. Woooohooooo..........

4. It's not terribly uncommon.
Fashions change, the muse lives forever.

6. This is true
It's just funny to see him then and then see him become some sort of dark character. I guess everyone has a show to do.

7. Well, I do think there's a little more to it than just image.
Large amounts of heroin, for example.

8. I found the clip both interesting and informative.
It taught me that like any computer, the musical computer must be programmed.
