A request of the admins!
I want to request, though it's in no way really that important, that we get either some new smilies and emoticons, or add some to the current list.

The new, bigger smilies would brighten up our posts, and you can actually differentiate between a smile and a wink. Sometimes I have to squint in order to see which emotion the icon is conveying.

Besides which, we have had some great changes through the years for which some new icons would be cool (how about a smiley holding a sign that says "Cheney sucks!" or a dimwitted looking C-i-C?) including some of the "heroes" of the left (Jon, Keith, Conyers, Cindy, etc) and some of the terminology we now attribute to the right winged jokers, like "moran," "series," "hugh," and other such words.

Perhaps some of the icons least frequently used could quietly be replaced by some newer ones, because I, for one, look at the list of the smilies and admit that there are many I've never used, nor have ever found reason to use.

Perhaps others here might agree with me, and show their support on this thread? I know we really can't complain too much (we really DO have a great sanctuary here!) but just giving a fairly small change like this would be fun and not cost a whole lot. :)

2. You might PM them about this.
I don't think the admins post in the Lounge anymore. I'm not sure if they would even see this.

4. I could
But I was looking for some for everyone to enjoy. I have a lot of the new ones, but it's still nice when everyone can use them.

How do you think I acquired my extensive collection of custom smilies?

7. I think we need some "good vibes" and "congrats" smileys
for people having hard times and for the milestone threads.
