Actually had to remove myself from her life because I was dreaming about the problems, thinking about it day and night, worrying and fretting nonstop and I just got overwhelmed because she was so overwhelmed. My husband and I would help with small things - like helping her fix her plumbing, etc., - but had to stay away from the huge life problems she had. It was very frustrating. And while she didn't WANT to be everyone's problem, she was just such a mess there was no way she couldn't be.
