I went to a bar/pub last night with my SIL, to watch our friends' band play and to dance. My husband stayed home with the kids, since we didn't have a sitter and he was sick.

I don't think I've been groped so much since my last physical. :eyes:
I guess I've lost a bit of perspective, since I'm usually out with my husband and don't get bothered *that* much. Is this what single girls have to put up with on a regular basis? Criminies.

I had a ton of fun with my friends, but I think I spent about the 2/3 of the time dancing and 1/3 prying hands off of me.

On the plus side, drunken male insights yielded me some knowledge of which I was previously unaware: My name is not "Lara," but "beautiful" :rofl: (how stunningly original!) I have a really "fuhhhcking 'intssscrederrrable' body," and some man from one of the bordering towns is going to be the father of my children (which will require some feat of time-travel, since they already have one.)

Also, telling men you are married is not a significant deterrent. Ignoring them isn't, either. If you pawn them off on your single SIL, they will follow her around the entire night, and she will probably want to beat you.

Some were perfectly polite and hands-off, but one guy would NOT quit touching me. He felt the need to "help" me in the door after I went outside, by grabbing onto me as though I were staggering drunk. I wasn't drunk at all. I was careful not to be, since my husband wasn't there and I'm uncomfortable being *that* intoxicated without him around.:eyes:
