We call it the "push, push" maneuver. Smokey likes to push an item bit by bit til it topples off the table. Hobbes likes to try to drink your drinks that are too small for her head and she ends up knocking over. Lovely.

3. One of my kitties knocked a bottle of vodka off the top of the fridge. |
|
Smashed to smithereens, and of course, the dog walked right through it, cutting her paw (not a bad cut, but still....). I got the bleeding to stop, cleaned up the mess, and went to work. When I came home, there were bloody paw prints all over the kitchen floor. I freaked out, grabbed the dog, and drove her to the vet. He checked her out, bandaged her up, and explained that a dog's paws are a vital part of their circulatory system, which I didn't know. When they walk or run, the paw pads help their blood circulate, so while the cut wasn't bad, that's why it started bleeding again.
Needless to say, I didn't put vodka, or anything else contained in glass, on the fridge top again.

10. At our house we call it gravity-checking. |
|
The cats feel it is their duty to check regularly in order to be sure gravity is working.
