Are you or your SO a slob?
Edited on Sun Jul-15-07 07:44 PM by NewWaveChick1981
I'm not particularly neat, but I am very, very clean. A little clutter never hurt anyone. :) However, I cannot stand a nasty kitchen or bathroom, and I freaking HATE dog hair tumbleweeds. My husband, on the other hand, is a total and complete slob. :yoiks: He was never a neat freak, and I knew that when I married him. However, it has definitely gotten worse over the years. He looks at me like I'm nuts if I say anything about it. :( Rita Rudner has a saying, and it's true---he's like a bear with furniture.

How about you?

1. I don't have an SO...
and I have plenty of dog hair tumbleweeds around here, but I try to keep up with them. My daughters, on the other hand--one who lives with me and one who recently visited--are a MESS! I'm no neat freak, but my dear God what a mess they made in tandem! This was primarily in the kitchen (ugh) and in the bathroom that the two shared.

3. We take turns being slack around here.
My son wins the slobbiest. He's only home for the summer though, then back to college. :-)

4. Well, whenever I've had an apartment to myself
It was always very clean except for one part: the bedroom. For some reason I have a tendency to trash my bedroom. Now if I'm living with a girlfriend, I tend to be much better about it. But when it's a bachelor pad, look out!

5. I'm wierd
I can totally ignore the grossest messes for long periods of time, but when I do clean I tend to detail with q-tips. Know what I mean? It is very hard for me to just "straighten" a room. (unless it has been recently detailed)

6. I'm like you
I'll have clutter everywhere, but I can't stand actual dirt and grime.

It's unfortunate that I have a dog who sheds like a demon. :P

7. I try to be neat, but I just have too much "stuff"!
I am continually organizing and sorting, but I can't keep ahead of it. When I do go on a cleaning binge, it's like a different house. Like a miracle happened in here.

8. Bear with furniture here.
If cleanliness is indeed next to godliness, I am in trouble.
