I don't get music videos

Seriously, there are very few music videos in the history of music videos that I actually like, even when I like the song.

Take "Bones" by The Killers for example. I love the song, but the video is just kind of goofy. And this is one of the better videos out there. Yeah it's interesting in its own way, but I just like the song much better without it. The girl in it is freakin' gorgeous however.

Actually, I love most music videos...

It seems to me that they're little bits of movies......with cool songs...

At least they can be!

They can also be a little bit of musical history...

You get to see an artist back in his/her heyday...

So it can be fun and interesting all at the same time...

It's just that in my opinion, few videos seem to go well with the song. But again, that's just my opinion.

4. 'Tis a very nice video

but it is not an official Evanescence video, correct? It is a fan video set to images of Arwen. And I often find those better than the professional ones.

There have been a few, like charolette sometimes, that I think were done well with the original but I think fanvids are usually better :)

And you can't go wrong with Johnny Cash. Here is probably my favorite music video of all time. Metallica's "One." When I was a kid I used to fantasize all the time about joining the army when I grew up and going to war. Then one day, I saw this video on MTV. I don't think I ever thought about war the same way again. Let it never be said that nothing good came out of heavy metal or Metallica.
